FAQ

I cannot transfer the screen data by using a Modem.
If you can not transfer the screen data by using a Modem, please follow these steps to troubleshoot.

1) Are any Error Messages displayed when transferring?
The following errors are generated because you are attempting to download system data over a modem. Modems can only handle changes in screen data. If you wish to change system data, you need to directly download the project with a USB transfer cable, ethernet cable, or CF card.

3) Are you using a supported modem?

The modems below are not compatible.
·
The reception of the display is analogue modem, so you cannot use a terminal adapter for an ISDN Line at the PC side.

·
The modems such as AIR H of Willcom Inc. (formerly DDI Pocket Inc.) which can be used by connecting via a connection center, are not compatible.

The following modems are compatible.
·

·
Modems which support Windows and can make a call to another Modem which is connected to a display
·
Modems which support the AT Command
·
Modem which can receive a datum at the display side

·

4) Are the modem and the display connected properly?

Please check that the [USB-Serial Conversion Cable] which connects the display to the modem is not unplugged and the modem's power is ON.

5) Is the modem setup properly with the PC?

With GP-PRO EX
Please confirm that the modem is setup properly in the [Transfer Settings] and the phone number is set correctly.

With Windows®
Use the Modem's Instruction manual to double check that it is setup properly in [Control Panel.]
