You can transfer data between the display unit
and a PC on a different network by using a router. However, there
are cases where the PC cannot automatically search the display unit
on a different network.
-
For a PC that is using two or more Ethernet
cards, the desired display unit may not be detected even if the PC
automatically detects IP addresses. This occurs when the PC
searches the display units connected to the Ethernet card that was
previously found. Click [Add] on the [Select Display Unit] dialog
box and manually set the IP address of the display unit.
-
When using the Transfer Tool on a PC running
Windows XP SP2 with Windows Firewall enabled, you are prompted to
allow the transfer. If you transfer data to more than one display
unit at the same time, either select [PASV] in the [Transfer
Settings][Communication Port Settings] or disable Windows
Firewall.
