There are two types of Recipes:

Transfer CSV Data

Data for which a recipe is created using common spreadsheet software (such as Microsoft Excel) and is converted to a CSV file, or recipe data created in CSV format from the beginning on GP-Pro Ex is referred to as "CSV Data".

Write the CSV data saved on the CF Card or USB storage device to the device/PLC, read the device/PLC data, and then save the data on the CF Card or USB storage device as a CSV file.

26.3 CSV Data Flow

The [CSV Data Transfer Function] is suitable for creating standardized data and dividing files into recipes.

Transfer Filing Data

Recipe data (binary data) created in GP-Pro EX is called "Filing Data".

These recipes write data from the backup SRAM to the device/PLC, and stores data from the device/PLC to backup SRAM.

Recipe Data	Attribute
CSV Data	Transfer the data directly between a CF Card or USB storage device and the device/PLC. Display on the display unit screen to edit and print the data on the CF Card or USB storage device. Can be created and edited in spreadsheet software (for example, Microsoft Excel). One recipe must be handled as one CSV file.
Filing Data	Keep the recipe in the display unit as internal data without using a CF Card or USB storage device. You cannot display or edit data on the display unit screen. By transferring data via the display unit internal device, you can display and edit data on the screen. Multiple recipes, transferred to the same address, can be handled as a single file.
