18.8.1 Language Change Restrictions If you change languages, all the text using the Text Table changes. The text registered in the Text Table can be used for the following features. Text Switch Lamp Part Label Alarm Part Item Name Messages to register in a Message Display [Direct Input] Alarm Messages to register in the Common [Alarm] If Multilanguage display is specified for the text, changing the language also changes the text in messages [Text Display] and [Text Alarm] parts. You cannot change the text in the Data Display [Text Display]. Nor can you use changing language to change item names and text that display on a Sampling Data Display or Special Data Display. Multiple text tables cannot display at the same time. After changing language, the screen displayed before the change may not appear. The language change feature works the same as the screen change feature. When you set a switch with the [Group with Auto OFF] setting, the bit will automatically turn OFF when the language changes. Text of a language different from the set language cannot be displayed properly. Enter text in the Text Table using the same language as the language setting. When text is not displayed properly, the text will be displayed differently depending on the language setting or string. In addition, even if the same string is used, it may be displayed differently depending on a part or GP-PRo EX and display unit. Changing Alarm Language When you set [Enable Text Table] in [Alarm], the existing messages are deleted. When registering Alarm Messages, Direct Input text and Text registered in a Text Table are set to all Alarms (Banner, Alarm History, Summary).
