Basic Course:
Using a modular approach, these guides are ideal for first time users of GPPRO-EX but also provide a handy “Quick Start” for existing users on individual topics such as understanding the structure of “AGP Memory”.

0 Introduction These Quick Start Guides introduce GP-Pro EX software and provide a good first time user overview of topics for the Pro-face AGP/LT/AST and WinGP Series product.
1 First Look In this module we look at how to start a project in the GP-Pro-EX editor.
2 Software Update This module explains how to keep the GP-Pro EX software up to date.
3 Help This module explains where to find manuals and technical support.
4 Projects This module explains how to create, open, save, protect and copy & import screens, check a file for errors and warnings and restore a backup file.
5 Out of Box This module explains the state of an new AGP series panel as it is delivered from Pro-face. Most aspects of this module also apply to AST and LT series product
6 Offline This module explains the use of the Offline menus to access various settings on the AGP Panel. Most of these settings can also edited in the GP Pro EX development software.
7 AGP Memory This module explains how and where data is stored in various AGP registers and variables.
8 Transfer This module explains how to send and receive data to and from an AGP. Many of these methods are also available for LT, AST or WinGP targets.

 Step by Step Textbook Tutorials
 GP-Pro EX
Basic Course:
Chapters 1-5 take you through the GPPRO-EX basic features focusing on screen functions that replace traditional Automation Control Panel functions.

Advanced Course:
Chapters 6-8 Introduce advanced HMI topics such as Alarm History, Data Sampling and Recipes.

Ladder Logic Feature Course:
Chapter 9 Introduces Ladder Logic Programming by using two real world applications.
     a) Preventative Maintenance. Monitors remaining service time of tools.
     b) Air Conditioning. Logic prevents user from setting the temperature too high or too low.

Computer Interaction Course:
Chapters 10-12 Explore features like:
     * RPA. (Remote PC Access). Operate a remote PC from an AGP touch screen.
     * GP-Viewer. View and operate an AGP screen from one or more remote computers.
     * WinGP. Using GPPRO-EX on our Industrial PCs using the WinGP runtime.

 GP-Pro/PBIII C-Package 03
Basic Course:
Chapters 1-6 take you through the GP-Pro/PBIII basic features to monitor and operate a screen.


Advanced Course:
Chapters 7-10 Introduce advanced HMI topics such as Alarm Summary, Animation, Data Collection and Recipes.

 Pro-Server EX

Basic Course:
Chapters 1-4 Starts with “What is Pro-Server EX” through basic set up and on to monitoring remote AGP and PLCs, Data sharing between AGPS/LTs and logging data to Excel spreadsheets.

 Video and Podcast based Training Modules
These modules are presented in both Abobe Flash (Play Now) and Podcast (Download) formats.

The Adobe® Flash® version plays straight off the Web without downloading. To use it you will need Adobe Flash Player which is a free plug-in for your Web browser.

The Podcast versions are zipped .m4v files. They can be downloaded and played on a PC or MAC using the free Apple QuickTime player. The Podcast version is formatted for a 480x320 screen making it suitable for playing on an iPhone or iPod touch.

Note: File sizes for Podcast downloads can be very large. A high speed internet connection is recommended.
