We have confirmed that the following symptom occurs in the use of the Device/PLC Connection Manual of GP-PRO/PBIII C-Package.
Please see below for details of the symptom and corrective measures for this problem.

Symptom

In the use of the following combination of products, after GP-PRO/PBIII C-Package is started, if Help (H) -> Manual (M) -> Screen Creation Guide is selected from the menu of the Project Manager, and "Device/PLC Connection Manual" is clicked from the bookmarks of "GP-PRO /PBIII for Windows Ver. *.* PDF manual (gpwmnl.pdf)" listed on the left of the screen, the manual may not open with the following message.

”The file and its viewer application are set to be launched by this PDF file, The file may contain programs, macros or viruses that could potentially harm your computer. Only open the file if you are sure it is safe. If this file was placed by a trusted person or program, you can click Open to view the file.”

Applicable product combination

The symptom may be observed in the use of the following combination of products (Screen Editor and Logic Program Development Software and Adobe Reader).

Screen Editor and Logic Program Development Software “GP-PRO/PBIII C-Package”:

Adobe Systems Ltd. Adobe Reader8 or 9:

Measures

To correct the error, upgrade Adobe Reader to 8.2.5 or later, or to 9.4.0 or later.

How to update Adobe Reader:
Select [Help] --> [Check for Updates...].
