FAQ
Can I place nomalized data on a graph and compare it with actual data?

You can display points and lines on a graph as coordinates of the X-axis and the Y-axis by collecting values of two word device addresses. You can display nomalized data and compare it to actual data.

Setup Instructions
This procedure explains how to display X and Y coordinate data obtained from the [Sampling] settings on a base screen using an XY Historical Scatter Graph.
1. In the [Sampling] setting window, set the word addresses to be displayed in the X and Y coordinate axes.

To get to the [Sampling] setting window, go to the [Common Settings] menu, select [Sampling], then click on "New". Assign a group number and click "OK".

Example: Address for X Coordinate = D100, Address for Y Coordinate = D101

2. Open the [XY Historical Scatter Graph] settings window.

To open the [XY Historical Scatter Graph] settings window, go to the [Screen] menu, then open the screen you are placing your graph on. Select the [Parts] menu, [XY Scatter Graph], then [XY Historical Scatter Graph].

3.

On the [Graph] tab, click [Channel Settings].

4. The [Channel Data Settings] window will open. Set the [Number of Channels], [X Coordinate Address], and [Y Coordinate Address].

5. Click [Extended].

6.

Select the appropriate [Group Number] (from [Sampling]). Under [Display Method], specify [Show Scale] and the [Normalize] tab will appear.

NOTE
[Normalize] settings are only available when [Show Scale] is specified.

7. Check the [Normalize] box, then set the [Control Word Address], [X Coordinate Data Start Address], [Y Coordinate Data Start Address], etc.

NOTE

To use this feature, your screen editor must be GP-Pro EX Ver. 2.20 or above.
