 Installing the Pass Through Function

Follow the steps to install the Pass-Through Configuration Tool, the virtual COM bus driver and the virtual COM port driver to use the pass through function.

Installing the Pass-Through Configuration Tool
1. Start your PC and insert the GP Pro EX CD-ROM into the CD-ROM Drive. GP-Pro EX Installer should start automatically.
If the installer does not start automatically....
* Click [Start] on the Windows desktop. Click [Run] and then a dialog box will be displayed. Enter "x:\ProExSetup.exe" in the box. (Where x: is the Drive Letter for your CD-ROM drive) Click [OK].

2. Click [Tools] after the installation screen is displayed.


3. Click [Pass Through] on Set Up Menu.


4. Select where to install the Pass-Through Configuration Tool and click [OK].

* You will use this folder when installing the drivers later on. Please select "C:\Program Files\Pro-face\Pass-Through" unless you have a problem with it.
