FAQ

When using Movie Converter, which movie file formats can be converted?

To convert a movie file using [Movie Converter], you need a PC with supported codecs. Some codecs are installed by default with Windows(R) Media Player and other video/audio players. Others can be downloaded from the internet. If your current PC configuration does not allow you to convert .AVI or .WMV files into .SDX files, you will need to add codecs. One free codec site is Free-Codecs.com The K-Lite Codec pack includes some of the codecs used in [Movie Converter]. If you install the standard version of K-Lite Codec pack, be aware that not all of the codecs are installed by default. Please look at the list and only install the codecs needed.

NOTE: Codecs and file formats must be supported in Microsoft DirectX 9 to operate properly.
