 Printer Connection

The AGP3000 series can be connected to a printer via the COM ,USB or LAN port.

*1
The AGP3301 Series and AGP3302B Series do not have a LAN port
*2
If your model is an AGP3750 Series, no printer can print the GP screen on 1 sheet as the screen size of the AGP3750 is too large.

To connect a printer to the AGP3000 via USB port, there are 4 ways as follows;
1) Direct connection of the USB printer port to the AGP3000 USB port
2) Convert the parallel port of the printer to a USB port and connect it to the USB port of the AGP3000
3) Use the COM1 port
4) Ethernet (LAN) port

To connect to a serial printer,  D-script programming in GP-Pro EX is required. The print commands can be sent from the COM1 port on the AGP3000 series to the printer.

-Connecting a Printer to an Ethernet (LAN) Port

IPP (Internet Print Protocol) or LPR (printing service for UNIX) is supported by GP-Pro EX. If you share the printer on a network, you can print the screen image via a LAN network. When a printer without a LAN port is connected, use the print server or connect to a PC.

In these cases, please refer to the following important notes.
