Recommended Conversion Connector
A conversion connector cannot be used.
For conversion to USB, use CA6-USB232-01 (*2)
For conversion to a 9 pin D-sub, use a straight conversion
connector (commercially available.)
*1 Supported in GP-PRO/PB3 C-Package 02 ver. 6.30 or later. It is necessary to install
the USB Driver separately.
*2 Most commercially available USB to RS-232C converters do NOT work with GP-Pro/PBIII. Please use the
part number listed for guaranteed operation.
Other Transfer Methods
* Ethernet
For GP/GLC2000 and ST403 units equipped with an Ethernet port, it is possible to download projects
directly from the PC to the GP/ST with an ethernet crossover cable, part number HMI-CAB-ETH. If you are
downloading through a hub, use a standard straight ethernet cable (commercially available.)
* CF Cards
CF cards can be used to transfer projects and files with all of the GP2000 series models.
Please use CF cards provided by Pro-Face. Operation of commercial CF cards
cannot be guaranteed.
