 How to adjust Brightness and Contrast

Most GP's can be adjusted for brightness and contrast. See this list for the capabilities of each model.

How to adjust Brightness

Touch the bottom two corners of the GP's screen to display the Brightness Adjustment Bar.

After adjustment, touch anywhere on the screen to remove the bar.

 
 
Memo
- Brightness Adjustment can be set while operating the system.
- Brightness Adjustment can not be set during startup. The screen needs about 10 minutes to warmup and stabilize the brightness. Please wait until the screen is warmed up before changing the brightness settings.

How to adjust Contrast
 
Touch the top two corners of the screen to display the Contrast Adjustment Bar.

After adjustment, please touch anywhere on the screen to remove the bar.

- Contrast Adjustment can be set while operating the system.

Contrast Adjustment can not be set during startup.

- The illustration above is for STN Color Types. With Monochrome Types, [Dark] will be displayed on the left, and [Bright] will be on the right.

Brightness Adjustment
 
2000 Series All Models ( 4-Level-Adjustment )
77R/77 Series All Models ( 477RE has 2-Level-Adjustment, other 77Rs have 4-Level-Adjustment)
70 Series 470E has 2-Level-Adjustment, other Models don't have Brightness Adjustment.

Contrast Adjustment
 
2000 Series 2501S, 2301S, 2301HS, 2300L, 2301L ( 8-Level-Adjustment )
77R/77 Series 577RS, 377S, 377L ( 8-Level-Adjustment )
70 Series 570S, 675S, 270S, 270L, 370S, 370L, H70S, H70L
( 8-Level-Adjustment )

If your screen will not adjust, even though it is listed above, please check the following:
 
Go to the Offline menu. Select [IO Settings], then [Touch Panel Settings].
Set both the Brightness Adjustment and Contrast Adjustment to "ON".
