Important notice to our valued customers who use GP-Pro EX with Function Expansion Memory for the GP3000 series (Model No.: GP3000-EXDM01)

We have confirmed that the following symptom has been seen in GP-Pro EX.
The symptom and corrective measure for it are indicated below.

Symptom descriptions

In Ver. 2.50.000 – 2.60.100 of the screen editor software “GP-Pro EX,” even if a Function Expansion Memory for the GP3000 series (Model No.: GP3000-EXDM01) is connected to a GP unit, the message “Function Expansion Memory is not installed.” may be displayed, and the expansion memory cannot be used.

Measures

Please update your GP-Pro EX to the newest version, Ver. 2.60.200, referring to the either way shown below and transfer screen data to the GP unit.

   ■For GP-Pro EX Ver. 2.5x Users
      Please download the installer to install the GP-Pro EX Ver. 2.60.200.

   ■For GP-Pro EX Ver. 2.6x Users
      - For update via “Online Update”
         Start the GP-Pro EX Ver. 2.60 and select [Help (H)] -> [Confirm Update of GP-Pro EX (U)].
         For details, please refer to the manual.

      - For update by downloading the update module from the website
         Download the update module to update the version to Ver. 2.60.200.
